Business Supporters What We Support Will Grow As consumers become more aware of the power of their patronage and with the initiative necessary to take a stand for a healthy ecology, we are realizing that we can change the business world by boycotts of products and services. While this is an important and useful tool, we must also become aware of the other side of this coin – the need to give support to businesses that reflect the qualities that we value! Without consumer support, such businesses cannot thrive. Is it important to you to have products available that are manufactured in an environment-friendly manner? How about businesses that ensure their own materials suppliers follow environmentally and socially acceptable practices? No child labor used. No worker exploitation. Because it has been confirmed that Outdoor Play turned down what was undoubtedly a substantial order from SeaWorld. Why did they do that?
